Who is Sweet Lady Cake you ask? Why, it’s Miss Lynne, you see.
Lynne has always drawn inspiration from her surroundings. Raised in Toronto, in a large loving family, she developed a passion for cooking, baking, and crafting in her childhood home. Her mother, a school secretary and homemaker, taught her the basics of cooking, baking, and sewing; her father, a welder and amateur comedian, introduced her to the fun side of life, right from the get go.
Lynne worked in the business world for over 25 years, and successfully maintained senior level positions throughout her career. She married in her twenties to the man of her dreams, and started a family with her husband which resulted in two incredible daughters. Always passionate about baking, she developed a small side cake business that was unlike any other! The business’s unique visual presentation of baked good and the elegant recipes created for various events were the basis for launching this site and her official business in 2009.
With a passion for creativity and a fun zest for life, Lynne has taken a small well-loved hobby and made it into something special.
